Working with 4Memphis Magazine throughout high school as an editor was an excellent learning experience. During my time at 4Memphis, I first learned what it meant to lead an editorial team, use InDesign for spreads, devise ideas for creative/fashion shoots, and maintain a monthly content calendar. I feel so fortunate to have developed these skills so early.

I also love how 4Memphis promotes and supports the local lifestyle and the best of the Memphis community. As editors and contributors, we attended many local events and then wrote about them, thus keeping in the loop with what was happening around Memphis. With the 4Memphis Impact section of the magazine beginning as a high school publication, unifying students across so many schools in the city, it was a unique experience to come together with so many people I had not known before.
